The Republic of San Marino - State located on Monte Titano (739 m above sea level), is one of the smallest and oldest states in the world. From the bird's eye view you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Adriatic Sea and the nearby Apennines. The streets of the historic center seem like the setting of a fairytale place.
Despite the fact that its territory occupies only 62 square kilometers, in beauty and conservation it can compete with any much larger state in Europe.
Independent Republic, Free Settlement, Land of San Marino – that's what they called this state in the Middle Ages. The Republic of San Marino has in fact always been independent and numerous attempts to conquer it have ended in failure. The republic is made up of 6 medieval cities - fortresses (Borghi), scattered on the slopes of Mount Titano.
The capital of the state is the city of the same name, San Marino. Walking along it you will be surprised by the preservation of numerous houses, public buildings, churches and palaces. The central square of this small city is also where the Government Palace is located, where elections of heads of state are held twice a year.
In San Marino it is possible to taste and purchase the famous fruit and herb liqueurs, as well as locally produced sweet wines.
San Marino is a shopping paradise thanks to duty-free shopping.
For motor sports enthusiasts, you should know that San Marino hosts the international car competitions Rally San Marino and the Mille Miglia retro car races.
In summer San Marino hosts international festivals and also organizes a series of themed shows.

DELAY OR FAILURE TO PRESENT A TOURIST FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING POOR WELL-BEING (EXCEPT FOR A STRONG DECREASE IN THE STATUS OF HEALTH OF THE SUBJECT, CONFIRMED BY AN ADEQUATE CERTIFICATE FROM AN ITALIAN MEDICAL INSTITUTE) WITHIN THE SCHEDULED TIME IN THE DESIGNATED PLACE IS CONSIDERED A VOLUNTARY REFUSAL OF THE SERVICE OR PART THEREOF. IN THIS WAY THE MONEY SPENT ON THE EXCURSION WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. AND THE MONEY SPENT FOR YOUR INDEPENDENT TRANSFER TO THE CITY YOU VISIT OR FOR THE RETURN TO RIMINI WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED.

3. PEOPLE WHO ARE IN A STATE OF ALCOHOL INTOXICATION, AS WELL AS PEOPLE WHOSE BEHAVIOR DOES NOT COMPLY WITH GENERALLY ACCEPTED BEHAVIOR STANDARDS, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BOARD THE EXCURSION BUS AND THE COST OF THE EXCURSION SERVICE AND ARE NOT EXPECTED REFUNDS.
4. RECOMMENDED CLOTHING: COMFORTABLE SHOES, HAT, CLOTHING THAT COVERS SHOULDERS AND KNEES FOR VISITING CATHEDRALS AND OTHER RELIGIOUS PLACES. ENTRY TO CATHEDRALS AND MUSEUMS WITH LARGE BACKPACKS IS FORBIDDEN. WE REMIND YOU THAT IN SUMMER THE BUS IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING, SO IT IS ADVISABLE TO BRING A LIGHT SWEATSHIRT OR A BLANKET TO LEAVE ON THE BUS.
